As a member of the Averitt Sales Team, you will be in direct, daily contact with your customers, serving as a consultative partner for them as they incorporate transportation decisions into their overall business strategies. Our Sales Representatives enjoy moderate travel through local and regional markets as they locate shipping solutions to reduce costs for our current and future business partners, as well as maintaining strong relationships. Pay Range: - , General Benefits:- One (1) year of sales experience, transportation sales experience preferred
- Port experience and/or international selling preferred
- High School Diploma or GED; College Degree preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Convictions for Reckless Driving within the past 5 years will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- Convictions for DUI within the past 5 years will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- License suspensions or revocations within the past 5 years will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- Serious moving violations within the past 12 months (following too close, improper passing, traffic offenses committed in a CMV in connection with a fatality) will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- More than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years will be reviewed on a case by case basis
