The Subrogation Claims Adjuster is responsible for identifying and pursuing recovery opportunities from third parties legally liable for losses paid by the company. This position investigates claims, negotiates settlements, and maintains accurate documentation to support successful recovery efforts.

Essential Job Duties

• Investigate claims to identify subrogation and recovery opportunities.
• Review claim files, reports, contracts, photographs, and other documentation to determine liability.
• Identify responsible third parties and pursue reimbursement for company-paid losses.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, attorneys, claimants, and other involved parties.
• Negotiate settlements and recovery agreements to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Prepare and submit recovery demands supported by documentation and evidence.
• Maintain accurate claim files and detailed records of recovery efforts.
• Monitor claim activity to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather information and support investigations.
• Comply with company policies and applicable laws related to claims handling and recovery efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Monday through Friday schedule; shift/hours are negotiable.
• Hybrid work arrangement may be considered.
• Primarily office-based environment with regular computer use and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
