Part-Time Software Support Specialist Internship

About the internship:
  • This is a paid internship
  • Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Internship to last approximately 6 months
  • Provide second level support and troubleshooting of user issues
  • Monitoring and managing VM environments (VMware and Nutanix)
  • Help maintain enterprise operating systems and applications
  • Assist with configuration, testing, evaluation of new products, services, desktop computers, and servers
  • Work with Cyber Security to identify vulnerabilities and remediation to maintain safety of applications and systems
  • Previous IT support experience preferred but not required

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in IT related preferred but not required
  • Experience in VM management, general knowledge of computers, software installation, and troubleshooting of issues is a plus
  • Person needs to be self-motivated and willing to research and troubleshoot issues
  • Good organization skills and ability to manage projects and interact with end users
  • Self-motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work within a team or individual environment
