Cargo Claims Investigator Job Description:
  • Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm.
  • This is an interesting, technical, analytical, and exciting position
  • Provide quality customer service while developing and applying knowledge of cargo claim legalities
  • Determine Averitt's liability while communicating in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify and communicate Loss Prevention opportunities
  • Occasionally make field and customer visits
  • Maintain close communication with all departments and service centers
  • Build rapport with external special account customers
