Position Overview
The IT Endpoint Support Intern assists the Corporate IT team with the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of company desktop and laptop systems in an enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a student or entry-level candidate seeking hands-on experience in endpoint management, Windows operating systems, device deployment, patching, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
This position provides real-world exposure to IT operations, endpoint security, and second-level technical support while working alongside experienced IT and cybersecurity professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, image, and deploy new desktop and laptop computers for end users.
- Support endpoint patching and system updates to ensure devices remain secure and compliant with company standards.
- Perform basic second-level troubleshooting for software and endpoint-related issues escalated from first-level IT support.
- Monitor endpoint health and assist with resolving issues related to performance, connectivity, and system updates.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and device documentation for deployed systems.
- Assist with testing and validating endpoint configurations, patches, and updates prior to company-wide deployment.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to help identify endpoint vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.
- Follow established IT procedures and best practices to maintain a secure and stable computing environment.

Schedule & Work Environment
- Part-time position, averaging 20-30 hours per week
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Schedule flexibility within business hours based on candidate availability

- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and general desktop/laptop hardware.
- Familiarity with common IT troubleshooting concepts and support practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with software patching, system updates, or device imaging processes.
- Interest in cybersecurity, endpoint security, system hardening, or IT infrastructure.
- Coursework or hands-on experience related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity (preferred but not required).
