As the Director of Corporate Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence within a newly created sales territory.

Director of Corporate Business Development Job Description:

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with flexibility as business needs require)
Travel: Extensive travel required
Salary: $155,000 - $170,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead corporate business development efforts within a newly created sales territory covering New Jersey and New York.
  • Identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities to drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate customers, prospects, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborating closely with executive leadership, sales, operations, and service centers to align business development strategies with company goals.
  • Oversee onboarding and implementation of new corporate customers, ensuring a seamless transition and exceptional customer experience.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer data to inform strategic sales initiatives and territory planning.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, forecasts, and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, customer satisfaction, and internal collaboration.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years' industry transportation sales experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (required)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a collaborative settin
