What You'll Do:
- Manage daily dispatch operations to meet customer delivery needs
- Assign loads and direct drivers based on availability and service requirements
- Ensure compliance with DOT hours of service and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams to resolve issues
- Use Microsoft Outlook and Excel to manage schedules and maintain records
- Plan and adjust dispatch strategies to improve efficiency and service
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold operational standards
- Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in planning and scheduling dispatch plans
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized and efficient
- Accurate record keeping
- Ability to lead and direct driver teams based on customer needs
- Understanding of DOT hours of service

- At least 1 year operations experience
- High School Diploma or GED; College Degree preferred but not required
- Valid Driver's License
- Convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- Convictions for DUI within the past 5 years will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- License suspensions or revocations within the past 5 years will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- Serious moving violations within the past 12 months for associates who will be operating company car or tractor trailer (following too close, improper passing, traffic offenses committed in a CMV in connection with a fatality) will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- More than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years will be reviewed on a case by case basis
