We move time-sensitive cargo, so the International Import / Export Coordinator is a critical part of our business. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of cultures are a must. Experience in logistics is preferred, but not mandatory as long as you are a quick learner.
About the position:
- Monday - Friday; 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
- Responsible for daily import / export operations and communicating the movement of Air and Ocean cargo with customers
- Customer service skills are highly needed
- On-the-job training is available
- This course is designed to develop knowledge of the freight forwarding industry and U.S. Customs regulations
- Serve as the single-source point of contact for our International customers from time of booking until time of delivery
- Communicate via email with overseas partners to request rates and facilitate booking of shipments
- Work closely with our in-house customs brokers
- Image all documents related to each shipment and verifying their accuracy
- Rate all shipments
- Track the movement of cargo and provide up-to-date status to our customers
- Work closely with our Sales team to strengthen customer relations and grow business opportunities
